Josh Millar

I’m Josh Millar, an independent punk artist from Brighton, crafting raw, rebellious music that resonates with those wrestling a love-hate relationship with themselves and the world. My DIY ethos drives my unique approach, using simultaneous multi-instrumentalism—guitar, bass, drums, and shouty vocals—to create high-energy tracks with gritty riffs and emotive lyrics. Inspired by NOFX, The White Stripes, The Chats, and Lambrini Girls, my sound blends punk’s raw aggression with melodic hooks, delivering authenticity and defiance.

My five-track Debut EP, released in August 2025 on Bandcamp and SoundCloud, showcases this vision, recorded with minimalist gear and mixed by a local producer and sound engineer.

With a stark, black-and-white aesthetic, I engage through the honesty of chaos and imperfection, trying to connect in a disconnected world. Join me in Brighton’s grassroots scene as I channel punk’s spirit into music that confronts, connects, and maybe even provides some catharsis.
